What is Khao Man Gai?
Khao Man Gai is Thailand’s version of chicken rice, a dish with roots in Hainan that became a local favorite across Thailand. The chicken is gently poached for tender meat, and the rice is cooked with chicken fat, stock, and ginger for rich flavor. What sets it apart are the Thai sauces, including a soy-based chili sauce and a sweet chili sauce.
